21/07/2010Invisible Idols are pleased to announce that they will be supporting Danny Vaughn (Tyketto, Waysted, Illegal Eagles vocalist) at his appearance at Sheffield's Corporation on 5th December 2010. Tickets are available from the band direct at £10 which is £2 cheaper than at the box office. |
02/07/2010Tonight Invisible Idols will perform at the Yardbirds in Grimsby to stand in for Matt's tribute show Six Of The Best who unfortunately have to cancel due to the keyboard player suffering in hospital from appendicitis. The Idols are geared up for a rockin' night in Grimsby! |

03/03/2010The Invisible Idols album is weeks away from being completed. This will then be launched on i-tunes. The band's November UK Tour Dates will be announced next month. Matt has been busy rehearsing with Six Of The Best and preparing for the first gig at Sheffield's Bellhouse Club on 25th March. Matt has also been gigging regularly with Stagefright and the band is booking more dates for this year so keep checking back for further updates. |

The song was re-recorded as a duet with Chantel McGregor in aid of Cancer Research UK, all profits of the record will be forwarded to charity and the whole campaign is organised & ran by Mr Steve Lally from the Rock Of The North Website who supports local bands in every way he can. 23/01/2010Six Of The Best are now taking bookings for 2010/2011, gigs are starting to flood in already, rehearsals are almost complete and the band is on the road from April. Invisible Idols are still hard at work recording in the studio and preparing for the february gigs in Yorkshire. |
11/01/2010The gigs begin at the end of January this year with various projects. Matt is currently in the studio with Invisible Idols working on the new EP titled "Highway Child". Rehearsals for Six Of The Best are still on and this show should be on the road in the next couple of months. Images from the Invisible Idols photoshoot have been uploaded to the gallery page. 30/12/2009Matt's final gig of the year is held on New Years Eve with Stagefright at Smithywood Club in Sheffield, tickets are onsale now. In January Matt is straight back into rehearsals with Six Of The Best & Invisible Idols. The Idols are going into the studio to record the new EP and will be attending the next of 2 photoshoots for the 2010 UK Tour Publicity Shots which will take place in November. New dates have been added to the Invisible Idols website and can also be found on the upcoming gigs page of this website. New pictures and recordings to be uploaded shortly, keep checking back. |
08/12/2009Welcome to the new Matt Black Website. Running upto Christmas Matt is performing the final gigs of the year with "Invisible Idols" & "Stagefright". He is still currently rehearsing with "Six Of The Best" (which will be on the road in feb 2010). And is performing two stand-in gigs with "A Foreigners Journey" & "Metalworks". Matt will be recording with Invisible Idols over Christmas and is attending 2 photoshoots for the publicity of the band's 2010 UK Tour. |
